ABS-CBN News posted a June 2015 interview, “Smartmatic denies being favored by COMELEC,” in which Smartmatic chairman Lord Mark Malloch-Brown appears. The Gateway Pundit, November 2020, published a transcript excerpt it attributed to that interview. As Gateway Pundit printed it, a reporter asked why Smartmatic was still in the Philippines after reports it did not own software that Dominion owned. The published reply: “The fact is, yes a part of our technology IS licensed from Dominion. But you tell me a large technology company which isn’t using in part licenses from other companies. And we have a license for the international use of that particular piece of the technology.” A follow-up on whether the license was live: “Yes.”

This site treats the excerpt as Gateway Pundit’s published rendering of a real interview, not as a court finding and not as proof of 2020 U.S. tabulation. A software-license sentence about international use is not a statement that he owned Smartmatic, owned Dominion, or altered an American election. Those upgrades are omitted.

If he said a piece of the stack was licensed from Dominion, that is a vendor sentence. It is not a 2020 steal. Anyone who needs it to be more than that should bring a document this page does not have.
